Locus Publishing was established in 1996 by Rex HowWorks of REX HOW)and maintains the spirit of "future, adventure, culture" in the cultivation of its publishing business.
According to Eslite Bookstore, one of Taiwan's most important book sales channels, Locus Publishing is among the top ten publishers in Taiwan.
At Locus, we are most proud of these three achievements:


1. Translation of influential foreign writers and books.

We have introduced many new Chinese writers and artists, including the world-renowned graphic artist JIMMY LIAO.
JIMMY LIAO's works have not only been a phenomenon in Chinese publishing but have also been translated into more than ten languages around the world.
In 2006, American publisher Little Brown published his book "Sound of Colors", which was quite a success.


3. Development of many imprints and affiliates.
We have developed many imprints and affiliate companies to better serve various audiences, such as Net and Books and Dala Publishing.

4. Cooperation with Mainland Chinese publishing companies.
We have developed strong relationships and cooperate widely with the important publishing companies in China, including the publisher of JIMMY LIAO and many of our other writers.
In 2010, Locus Publishing started releasing new books in English and Chinese through Locus-International. These books include new works of cultural history, spirituality and graphic novels.
